About the Role

Armorpoxy is seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of Supply Chain & Logistics to oversee purchasing, inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics. This role will ensure product availability across core operations, Amazon FBA, and a major retail partnership with Lowe’s.

The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and proactive, with the ability to optimize inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, improve processes, and lead a small team in a fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, replenishment, and inventory planning for raw materials and finished goods.
• Develop demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, current orders, and growth projections.
• Establish reorder points, safety stock levels, and purchasing schedules to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Manage Amazon FBA inventory forecasting and replenishment.
• Lead supply-chain planning and logistics for Lowe’s and other retail channels.
• Coordinate production schedules for core products, including multi-component epoxy kits.
• Manage supplier relationships, lead times, inbound freight, and shipping logistics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance to align inventory with business demand.
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing data in Fishbowl and other company systems.
• Develop and improve supply-chain processes, reporting, and standard operating procedures.
• Will likely start as an individual contributor but may grow to manage a team of 2-3 employees.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, purchasing, inventory planning, logistics, or a related operations role.
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, replenishment, production planning, and inventory control.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple SKUs, suppliers, purchase orders, and competing priorities.
• Strong communication, vendor-management, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with an on-site warehouse operation.
• Proficiency in Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Ability to anticipate supply-chain risks and take proactive action in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Amazon FBA inventory and/or large retail accounts.
• Knowledge of Big Box retail forecasting, replenishment, and retailer inventory requirements. Home Depot and/or Lowe’s experience is a plus.
• Experience with Fishbowl or similar inventory-management systems.
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Experience managing domestic and/or international freight.

• Maintaining optimal inventory levels while minimizing stockouts and excess stock.
• Ensuring accurate forecasting and timely replenishment for Amazon FBA and retail accounts.
• Keeping core products fully stocked and production schedules aligned with demand.
• Improving purchasing decisions through reliable data, supplier coordination, and forecasting.
• Identifying and resolving supply-chain and logistics issues before they disrupt operations.
