ABOUT THE POSITION
Hulsbosch Dairy Farm is looking for a Full-Time Onsite Farm Recruiter to support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding across all departments. This position will work closely with the Human Resource Director to identify staffing needs, recruit and interview candidates, coordinate hiring, and provide hands-on support to new employees throughout the onboarding process.
The Recruiter will also assist new employees with their transition into Hulsbosch, including airport pickups, transportation, Social Security appointments, required paperwork, housing, orientation, and other onboarding needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Manage the recruitment process from job posting through hiring and onboarding.
● Create job postings, review applications, and screen candidates.
● Conduct and coordinate phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
● Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
● Complete reference checks and other pre-employment requirements.
● Assist with job offers, start dates, and new employee orientation.
● Provide hands-on onboarding support, including airport pickups, transportation, Social Security appointments, paperwork, housing, and required appointments.
● Serve as a point of contact for new employees during their transition to the farm.
● Maintain organized recruitment and employee records.
● Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
● Attend job fairs and recruiting events.
● Identify new ways to attract and retain quality employees.
● Assist with improving recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes.
● Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Previous recruiting, HR, staffing, or hiring experience required.
● Agriculture, dairy, manufacturing, production, or hands-on work environment experience preferred.
● Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
● Experience with online job boards and recruiting platforms.
● Ability to work with employees from diverse backgrounds.
● Spanish-speaking skills required.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
● Ability to work flexible hours when needed for employee arrivals and appointments.
