About the role Hydrotherapy is based at our Sevenoaks site. You’ll work in a modern practice with outstanding facilities, alongside a great clinical team, with the chance to see the veterinary side of cases too. If you’re also physio-qualified, there’s scope to work across our other Pennard sites, there’s also the freedom to develop the role how you would like it – if you want to trial home visits for physio we’d be supportive! Hours are flexible – Saturdays available if you want them, but not required. What you’ll be doing Running hydrotherapy (and physiotherapy, if qualified) sessions to aid recovery from surgery, injury and ageing Building treatment plans with vets, and adjusting them as patients progress Keeping clear clinical records and equipment well maintained Booking and managing appointments Advising clients on at-home care What we’re looking for Qualified hydrotherapist — essential Physiotherapy qualification (e.g. Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Physiotherapy, ACPAT registration) — desirable, and opens up multi-site and home-visit work Good understanding of animal anatomy and physiology Compassionate, patient, and a strong communicator with clients Comfortable with the physical demands of hydrotherapy About Pennard Vets At Pennard Vets, every member of our team is an employee owner of the practice, committed to ensuring our service goes beyond the ordinary.
